Initiatives for Sustainable Development & Regenerative Systems

An evolving intercultural, intergenerational intellectual commons — for envisioning, questioning, and imagining the futures we have not yet built.

Current Provocation
Is “development” the right pursuit — or should we envision something else for the future?

InSustained Futures is a space for thinking about the human future without boundaries between disciplines, between art and science, between the practical and the abstract.

It holds space for future fiction and philosophy, for systems thinking and spiritual inquiry, for policy critique and poetry — for whatever form the thinking needs to take.

Intercultural. Intergenerational. Independent. Intellectual. Open.

Threads We Hold
01 MindMatters of the Changing Future — the pursuit and meaningfulness of life, past, present, and beyond the defined meanings
02 Future fiction — imagining lives, communities, and worlds that do not yet exist, in any form
03 Regenerative systems — beyond sustainability, toward active restoration of ecological, social, and spiritual life
04 Bodies that age, worlds that accelerate — what does it mean to grow old in a future that changes faster every year?
05 Nouveau families, human interest republics — collectives beyond ethnicity, geography, and nation-states
06 Outer space, inner space — a space-faring civilisation and a thought-faring civilisation, together
07 The Village in 2075 — not planning, but collective imagination. Who lives there? What do they eat, how do they move, what do they celebrate?
08 After Development — is “development” the right pursuit, or should we envision something else for the future?
